PREPARE YOUR QUILT

• Quilt top, batting, and backing should be separate (not basted together). The top and backing should be clean and PRESSED, free of loose threads and embellishments. DO NOT place pins in the top except for 1 safety pin to indicate the “head” of the quilt, if necessary.
  
  
• Backing should be at least 4” and no more than 8” larger than the top on all sides. Backing should be seamed and “squared up”. If backing is pieced, please trim all selvages. Bed sheets are not suitable.
  
  
• If you choose to send your own batting, please be sure it is suitable for machine quilting. Mountain Myst brand is not appropriate.
